McDonald’s Commercials are pretty hip these days

Lately, McDonald’s commercials seem to be following the Virgin Mobile model. Throw a cool song in the background and people won’t be annoyed (as much) by your commercials. It seems like the era of Justin Timberlake are over… for now.
McDonald’s commercials in Canada have some solid techno – electropop beats, of note:
Bot’Ox – Blue Steel
This is the song from the Big Mac commercial and it was hell trying to find it with just the phrase “don’t you know it’s no surprise”.
Bag Raiders – Shooting Stars
This one is from a newer commercial and is even better than the Bot’Ox song. This one is from the commercial with the lady and her egg mcmuffin.
Note: I do not endorse McDonald’s food in any way. But their ads aren’t half bad.

you should thank their ad agency creatives for the song choices….the mcdonalds suits clearly have no idea what the meaning of cool is, they still think the best way to sell happy meals is by using that terrifying clown.

HINT: It’s still the same ol’ garbage McDonalds. These commercials are a joke, and you should feel bad for enjoying them.

I’ve had the Bag Raiders tune stuck in my head since I saw the commercial, I love the song. The newest McDonald’s commercials are very good, I actually pay attention to them when they’re on.

Haha tell that to the Levi’s jeans that I bought after the Pioneers commercial (http://katuwapitiya.com/?p=486). I don’t see anything wrong with supporting a company when they produce good advertising and vice versa… Hell, that’s why I’ll never buy a Hyundai.

Been Trying Forever To Get The Shooting Stars Song. Every Time It Comes On I Dance On The Spot. Great Song! Thanx A Lot.
